Role Overview

We’re seeking a dynamic and client-focused Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring their IT needs are met with excellence. You’ll work closely with our technical teams to deliver proactive support, identify growth opportunities, and maintain strong customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the trusted advisor and main liaison for assigned client accounts
  • Understand client business goals and align IT solutions to support their success
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services and solutions
  • Conduct regular account reviews and performance check-ins
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within territory
  • Manage contract renewals, proposals, and pricing discussions
  • Resolve client issues with urgency and professionalism
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and contribute to forecasting and reporting
  • Attend relevant networking events during and after business hours for prospecting
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling and networking
  • Meet and/or exceed performance goal metrics for territory
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, preferably in IT services or cloud solutions
  • Strong understanding of managed services, cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure), and IT solutions
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and account management best practices
  • Local knowledge of Maryland’s Eastern Shore business landscape is a plus
